Gerry Scullion is a service design consultant with 16-years professional experience. He has held design leadership positions at Myspace.com, IGN, Cochlear, MYOB, EY Seren and CBA among others. He is Principal at Humana Design.
He’s spoken at UX Australia, UX Scotland, Vivid Sydney, Product Camp Dublin, General Assembly, Product Tank, Service Design Days, XXUX, Product Talks and many more. He’s a long-serving volunteer mentor for iXDA and is a Councillor for theRSA.org in Ireland.
Most recently he contributed to the service design book ‘This is Service Design Doing‘ (O’Reilly Media, 2017) on chapters relating to ‘Embedding service design into organisations’ and ‘Effective prototyping for businesses’.
His interests lie heavily in using design methods to improve social outcomes and empowering people to create human-centric products and services. He lives and breathes design, is an ex-singer songwriter, amateur barista, football fanatic, and tech gadget geek.

John is a business anthropologist and executive coach. He specialises in understanding culture & human behaviour in order to improve the creativity and productivity of organisations and how they connect to their consumers, clients and market trends.

He regularly speaks on why culture is central to building successful organisational cultures and brands. He is a guest lecturer at Cass Business School in marketing and a Visiting Scholar at the Royal College of Art in design. He’s also a TED speaker and his thinking and work has appeared in the Financial Times.

Georgia is a HCD practitioner working at the intersection of service design and content strategy with 10 years experience specialising in media. She has designed news, educational, entertainment and lifestyle products and services to help organisations including the BBC, Virgin Media and Australian Broadcasting Corporation re-frame their customer experience and ways of working.
She currently works at ABC and is studying a Masters in strategic design. Her work and research focusses on how to drive digital media transformation by re-designing the employee experience and back of house editorial processes. She enjoys helping new Designers find their feet as a mentor and guest teacher.
