About
I am a Strategic Designer with a background in Social and Cultural Anthropology. My career has been built at the intersection of research, service design, and facilitation. I’ve worked across sectors like healthcare, banking, education, and retail, helping organizations transform complexity into meaningful solutions.
I trained in Anthropology at the Universitat de Barcelona and have sharpened my approach with certifications in Design Thinking, Biomimicry, Strategic Foresight, Service Design, Systems Thinking, Facilitation and Behavioral Science. Additionally, I am a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, which allows me to explore disruptive ways of co-creation and teamwork.
Roots & Influences
I grew up between the neighborhoods of Sant Andreu, El Clot, El Guinardó, Vallecas, and Palermo. I was raised on a diet of Mano Negra, The Pixies, and hard rock 90's vinyls, dive-bar foosball tables, and university bar debates. If my life were a movie, it would be an impossible crossover between Rio Bravo, Parasite, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
My Philosophy
From my current base in Nou Barris, Barcelona, I continue to believe more in people than in the countries they belong to, and more in stories than in ideologies. I find more value in working-class blocks than in great temples of culture, and trust the power of speech and the spoken word over formal languages. For me, the reality of the territory always outweighs the abstraction of the map-
My design approach feeds on all of this: the edge, the periphery, the transit through "non-places," and everything I observe, hear, and connect. I seek meaning within a vast sea of complexity. I am passionate about Twin Peaks, Cronenberg, Brutalism, and walking without a destination.
I might not always know what I am for, but I certainly know what I am against.
