Design Strategy Leader, Applied Anthropologist, Transdisciplinary Researcher

For 10 years I've been collaborating as part of, and leading, design and research teams in technology companies, global consultancies, venture and innovation labs, governments, major banks, climate and agritech startups, social enterprises and NGOs, and scale-ups in fintech, legaltech, health, and media.I help organisations identify opportunities using data and research insights, and to design, build, and scale features, products, and ventures that solve high impact challenges, and deliver on strategic and commercial objectives.I specialise in systems and first principles thinking, 0-1 discovery, and the definition and development of value propositions at the intersection of behavioural insight, emerging technology, and business strategy. I have a track record of identifying opportunities for innovation in ambiguous or complex problem spaces, and delivering business and user value by combining actionable insights, intuitive information architecture, and thoughtful interaction and service design.I build inspiring design teams and cultures, and facilitate participatory processes that expand, inform, and connect. I'm curiously oriented and thrive on ambiguity, experimentation, the creation and synthesis of multiple sources of (often imperfect) knowledge, creative problem solving, strong viewpoints loosely held, and shipping measurable business and user outcomes over artefacts and innovation theatre.

I work as freelance project manager for international organisations(EU, UN).As a result of my passion for Service Design, I’ve developed a parallel career in this field, to either run service design projects or enrich my practice as a project manager. The combination of both allows me to bridge the gap between strategy and implementation, leveraging my understanding of how organizations operate to ensure that innovative solutions are not only well-designed but also feasible and impactful in their implementation.
