Design/UX research and strategy consultant with 8 years of experience working across industries (tech, healthcare, education, non-profit) and for a range of clients, including Google, Meta, GE, Nissan, Sonos, Unicef).I bring to that role over a decade of experience as a documentary film director and producer.

As a researcher and strategist I lead research end-to-end, developing actionable insights that reflect the needs of the customer while keeping in mind the needs of the business. I approach research the same way I do filmmaking: with a strong sense of curiosity and creativity, empathy for those sharing their stories with me, and rigor to uncovering insights and making sense of them in order to deliver strategic recommendations. As both a researcher and a filmmaker I have traveled the world and worked in a variety of contexts, exploring different topics and speaking with people from all walks of life. I like coming at each new challenge with an open mind, thus leaving room for surprise and the ability to connect on a human-level. My focus is on deep qualitative research but I also use qualitative research to ensure insights are valid at scale.
