Wahid bin Ahsan is a UX strategist, applied researcher, and human-centered design leader from Bangladesh with more than two decades of experience. He works at the intersection of design practice, applied research, and capacity-building to deliver inclusive, evidence-based solutions while mentoring emerging practitioners.

As Co-founder of Userhub, Wahid leads projects that integrate service design, systems thinking, and participatory research to address complex social, civic, and organizational challenges. He has collaborated with NGOs, government agencies, development organizations, and private-sector teams to improve accessibility, strengthen user trust, and design services that are functional, culturally relevant, and sustainable. His expertise includes UX audits, WCAG accessibility evaluations, participatory design, and behavior-informed service redesign.

Wahid is the creator of the SEED Framework (Search, Explore, Evolve, Deliver), which structures human-centered design practice, and the EDIT UX Framework, which supports scalable redesign and evidence-based problem solving. Both models are used in client engagements and in Userhub’s professional programs. These programs, including the Diploma in User Experience Design and the Certificate in Human-Centered Design, have trained hundreds of professionals through applied projects that frequently result in published case studies.

He has authored dozens of peer-reviewed and open-access publications on accessibility, civic technology, and social innovation. Through writing, public speaking, and cross-sector partnerships, Wahid advances ethical and context-aware design, contributing to the creation of inclusive ecosystems aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
